The Orovalle gold company, from Belmonte de Miranda, and the unions last night rushed the deadline they gave themselves until midnight today to reach an agreement on the collective agreement.
The two parties agreed on a truce last Tuesday, under which the company withdrew the sanctions imposed on a group of workers on Friday and the unions suspended the strike, which has lasted since November 14, for yesterday and the day before yesterday as detente measures.
However, last night negotiations continued in the Asturian Service for Extrajudicial Conflict Resolution (Sasec), in Oviedo, in the second consecutive session, and until that moment there were still no signs that pointed to an understanding.
The impression is that the deadline was going to run out until midnight or close to that limit, without being completely sure that there would be a rapprochement of positions that would make an agreement possible.
