On the other hand, seven Italian films still in the selection process will be presented at the Piccinni. In the history of Bif&st we have had 21 Oscar winners, including Roberto Benigni and Bernardo Bertolucci. This is because we focus on the quality of artists and events. And about films that can really appeal to the public – says the creator and artistic director of the festival, Happy Laudadio – so that this event takes shape in a few years and despite a tighter budget than others. An Oscar-winning film will open the festival. But we are not revealing the title yet – continues Laudadio -. We will also dedicate a tribute to Federico Fellini on the thirtieth anniversary of his death, as well as to Mia Martini with a preview of a work dedicated to the great artist. As for the international jury, it will be chaired by the French critic Jean Gili and made up of the German producer Bettina Brokemper, the Italian actress Valeria Cavalli, the Apulian director Pippo Mezzapesa and the Polish critic Grazyna Torbicka.
