Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan starrer is the popular movie ‘Dunky’. It was released worldwide on December 21 last year. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, this movie has won rave reviews from the first hour of its release.

Almost two months have passed since its theatrical release. ‘Dunky’ was released on OTT platform Netflix on February 15. It has been bought by Netflix authorities in exchange of huge amount of money.

Siyasat.com reported that Netflix has bought the OTT rights of the movie ‘Dunky’. Earlier it was rumored that the movie has been sold for Rs 155 crores. But this information is not correct. Instead, the company had to shell out Rs 120 crore (more than Tk 158 crore 19 lakh in Bangladeshi currency) for the movie.

According to a report in Indian Express, the OTT and satellite rights of the movie ‘Dunky’ have been sold for Rs 230 crore.

According to Saknilk, the movie ‘Dunky’ has earned Rs 272 crore in India alone. It grossed Rs 454 crore worldwide.

Rajkumar Hirani worked with Shah Rukh for the first time in the movie ‘Dunky’. The movie also stars Taapsee Pannu, Dia Mirza, Boman Irani and others. The cost of making the movie is 200 crore rupees. The movie is produced under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment and Jio Studios.
