In a statement to MAP, the Divisional Police Commissioner, deputy to the Oujda police prefect, Said Daoudi stressed that the Oujda police prefecture has put in place a protocol of security measures and maintenance of order, which includes an integrated and global action plan based mainly on proactivity and security presence on public roads, in addition to the mobilization of all human and logistical resources aimed at ensuring the security of installations, people and their belongings.
This action plan is based, among other things, on intensifying the security presence around and at the entrances to the city by increasing the number of judicial roadblocks and checkpoints and providing them with the necessary staff to carry out their surveillance missions, he said, adding that elements of the traffic and road police were deployed at all crossroads and axes of the city in order to ensure the fluidity of traffic, fines refractories, prevention and fight against traffic accidents.
Regarding the security presence in the different axes and neighborhoods of the city, Mr. Daoudi placed emphasis on the increase in foot and motorized patrols, to support the feeling of security among the population and prevent any security slippage. .
For his part, the Senior Police Commissioner, head of the communication unit at the Oujda police headquarters, Hassan Nejjari, indicated, in a similar statement, that the prefecture has spared no effort for the optimal mobilization of all human and logistical resources, according to a plan which mainly aims to strengthen security, secure sensitive places, ensure the fluidity of traffic and driving, in addition to installing judicial roadblocks to monitor arrivals in the city .
Furthermore, the city’s pastries have worked hard at the end of the year, to satisfy the tastes of customers who are rushing in droves to stock up on cakes.
