Today, Wednesday, our national football team defeated its Vietnamese counterpart by three goals to two in the finals of the Asian Nations Cup in Qatar.
The correspondent of the (INA) reported, “Our national team was able to turn the tables on its Vietnamese counterpart by three goals to two in the match that took place at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium at Al Sadd Club in Qatar for the fourth group in the Asian Football Cup finals.”
He added, “The Vietnam national team ended the first half in its favor with a goal scored by Bui Hoang in the 42nd minute, and the national team was able to equalize with Rebin Sulaqa in the 48th minute of the second half, while striker Ayman Hussein added the second goal for Iraq in the 73rd minute.” In addition, the Vietnam national team equalized with a second goal through Nguyen Quang Hai in the 91st minute of the match, and Ayman Hussein scored the winning goal for the Al-Rafidain Lions from a penalty kick in the 12th minute of stoppage time in the second half.
With this victory, our national team reached the round of 16 of the Asian Cup as leader of Group Four after achieving the perfect score with 9 points.
