The President of Pastef, Ousmane Sonko, is launching a two-day political tour across the Guinguineo department, aiming to galvanize support within key communities.
Sonko’s tour begins Saturday with visits to the communes of Fass Barigot, Ourour, Gagnick, Khelcom Birame, Ngathie Naoude, and Mbadakhoune. He’s expected to arrive in the town of Guinguineo on the evening of Saturday,February 7,2026.
The second day, Sunday, February 7, 2026, will see activities commence in Panal, a town approximately thirty kilometers from Guinguineo. Following an invitation from the departmental coordination of Guinguineo, Sonko and his delegation will then proceed to the communes of Dara Mboss, Mboss, Ndiago, and Nguelou. A “Mega Meeting” is scheduled for Guinguineo starting at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
