Faced with the drop in overnight stays in apartments, as a result of the end of the tourist season, campsites registered a 9% increase compared to last year. Rural tourism grows

Galicia was the preferred destination, with 207,524 overnight stays. The Community of Madrid reached the highest occupancy, with 65% of the places offered, according to data from the INE.
