sharon Osbourne Reveals Ozzy Osbourne’s Final Words Before Death: “Kiss me. Hug Me Tight.”
Sharon Osbourne has shared heartbreaking details about her husband Ozzy Osbourne’s final moments, revealing his poignant last words as she publicly grieves the loss of the rock icon. The Black sabbath frontman passed away in july at the age of 76, following a years-long battle with Parkinson’s disease and just weeks after a final performance with the original lineup of the band at Villa Park in Birmingham, England.
In a deeply emotional interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored, released on December 10, 2025, Sharon, 73, recounted how Ozzy’s final words to her were a tender plea: “Kiss me. Hug me tight.” she described a restless night before his passing, explaining, “The night before he passed, he was up and down to the bathroom all night, and it was like 4:30 a.m., and he said, ‘Wake up.’ I said, ‘I’m already bloody awake, you’ve woken me up,'” before he quietly asked, “And he said, ‘Kiss me,’ and then he said, ‘Hug me tight.'”
Sharon became visibly emotional as she reflected on their last moments together, expressing a lingering sense of regret. “If only I’d have told him I loved him more. If only I’d have held him tighter,” she lamented. She explained that Ozzy went downstairs to exercise for 20 minutes the following morning before he “passed away” after suffering a heart attack.
The scene that unfolded was chaotic and devastating, sharon recalled. “I ran downstairs, and there he was, and they were trying to resuscitate him, and I’m like, ‘Don’t – just leave him. Leave him. You can’t. He’s gone,” she said, explaining that she instantly knew her husband of over 43 years was beyond saving.”And they tried and tried, and then they took him by helicopter to the hospital and they tried, and it’s like, ‘He’s gone.Just leave him.'”
