He Animalist Party PACMA and the organization We The Free will celebrate the first International Save The Octupuses Fest next Saturday, November 4, starting at 10:30 a.m., in the Plaza del Pilar in the Guanarteme neighborhood, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

This festival is held in collaboration with international entities that defend animal rights such as Animal Save International, CIWF, Plant Based Treaty, Eurogroup for Animals, PETA, Eco Medics, Aquatic Life Institute, Natural soul o Greenpeace, among other.

PACMA has explained in a note that this event was born from the “tireless fight” of all these entities against the opening of the first octopus farm in the world in the port of Las Palmas and seeks to raise awareness and mobilize the community in defense of these animals and the environment.
