The Ruane family is navigating a challenging time following the death of a cherished husband, father, adn grandfather.

  • He was predeceased by his infant son, Martin.
  • Reposing will be held at St.colman’s Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, January 6th.
  • Funeral Mass is scheduled for Wednesday at 1:00 PM in St. Colman’s Church.
  • Donations are welcomed to Western Alzheimer’s.

The family has requested privacy during this period of grief, but details regarding services have been made public to allow friends and neighbors to pay their respects.What are the arrangements for honoring his life? A viewing will take place at St. Colman’s Funeral Home, Lower James Street, Claremorris (F12 R3W8) on Tuesday evening, January 6th, from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM.

Following the repose,his remains will be removed from his residence on Wednesday afternoon to St. Colman’s Church in Claremorris for Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in st. Colman’s cemetery, also in Claremorris. For those unable to attend in person, the Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on the St. colman’s Church Claremorris YouTube channel and the keith Donnellan Funeral Directors Facebook page.

The ruane family expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of compassion and understanding they have received.

He is survived by his wife, Rosaleen, sons Patrick, Noel, Fergus, and Ronan, daughters Caroline and Karen, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, and his sister nuala, along with extended family, neighbors, and friends. His loss will be profoundly felt by all who knew him.
