Sydney: Some Australian players may miss the Pakistan tour (Australia tour to Pakistan 2022). The Australian Cricketers’ Association said one or two players were reluctant to go to Pakistan. The association says the players are concerned about security in Pakistan. The announcement comes as the Australian cricket team for the tour is set to be announced tomorrow.

Earlier, Australian captain Pat Cummins had said that he understands the sentiments of those who refuse to go to Pakistan and will support such players. The Australian team’s first tour of Pakistan in 24 years begins on March 4. The Australian cricket team previously played in Pakistan in 1998.

The first match of the Pakistan-Australia Test series will be played in Rawalpindi from March 4. The second Test will be played in Karachi from the 12th and the third in Lahore from the 21st. All matches of the White Ball Series, which runs from March 29 to April 5, will be played in Rawalpindi. The ODIs will be played on March 29, 31 and April 2 and the only T20 in the tour will be played on April 5. Test matches will be part of the ICC Test Championship and ODIs will be part of the World Cup Super League.
