Eight people, including three brothers, were arrested in the case of the head of Madambakkam Panchayat Council being hacked to death by throwing a country bomb near Manimangalam.
Venkatesan (45), a resident of Madambakkam area under Manimangalam police station in Kanchipuram district, and head of Madambakkam Panchayat Council, was talking to two people near the Raghavendra Nagar Bridge. The mysterious persons who were hiding at that time attacked Venkatesan by throwing a homemade bomb.
Venkatesan, who was seriously injured and fell down, was killed by a mysterious gang of 8 members with deadly weapons including machetes and machetes and then fled. Manimangalam police rushed to the spot after receiving the information, recovered Venkatesan’s body and sent it to Chengalpattu Government Hospital for post-mortem and searched for the murder gang.
In this case, the police have arrested 8 people, including the three brothers of Mohammad Saddam Hussain (25), Mohammad Imran Khan (21), Mohammad Riazuddin (27), Dhanush (26), Manimaran (25), Ahmed Pasha (21), and Mohanraj (20). In the preliminary investigation that followed this, they said that Venkatesan was the mastermind behind the double murder in Manimangalam area. The police are still investigating them.
