Paratroopers Arrest the Terrorist who Shot Dead Father and Son from Ashdod

A terrorist who shot dead a father and son from Ashdod at a car wash in Hvara has been finally caught by planet Force 646, a group of paratroopers in the reserve. The incident occurred in August when the terrorist fled from the security forces, but he was recently arrested in the Jenin refugee camp. Along with the arrest of the terrorist, ready-to-use charges and weapons were also found.

The victims, Shay and his son Aviad, were murdered in the shooting attack at the car wash. The deceased, aged 60 and 28, had arrived in the village for errands, washed their car at the car wash, and were shot while waiting near it. The armed terrorist, recognizing that they spoke Hebrew, shot them at point-blank range and fled to the Nablus area.

In the footage of the attack, the two victims are seen standing near their car at the car wash. The terrorist approached them, stood in front of them, and shot them at short range before fleeing the scene. Unfortunately, the father and son were mortally wounded and were later pronounced dead at the end of CPR.

Rina Stemker, Shay’s partner, expressed her shock and grief over the loss of Shay, saying, “I called and he didn’t answer, his ex-wife called me and said something happened, suddenly his aunt called and screamed that there was an attack and Shay died.” Stemker recounted that Shay had gone out in the early morning hours with his son to carry out repairs on the car and spoke with her shortly before the attack occurred.

The victims’ relatives and friends have been devastated by the tragedy, and the capture of the terrorist provides some sense of closure for the community. Hopefully, the arrest will bring some measure of peace to the grieving families.
