Pope Francis has said that parents of homosexuals should support their children and not condemn them. The pope spoke of this as off the record at his weekly meeting in the Vatican. He said this during the problem that parents face in raising that type of child.
“Parents who see different sexual attraction in their children need to know how to deal with and adapt to it. We do not consider it necessary to comment on such fabrications. ”
“Same-sex marriages are not allowed in churches. However, the couple can support civil union laws such as health, pension and entitlement, ”he said.
Earlier, he had said that homosexuals have the right to be accepted as children and siblings in their family. Last year the Vatican Doctrine Office said Catholic priests could not bless homosexuals. It had given a huge disappointment to the homosexuals place. However, in countries like the United States and Germany, priests are said to be blessing homosexuals.
