Park Joo-min, a member of the Democratic Party, questioned Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon’s YouTube channel, asking, “Is it decided to be a far-right YouTube?” The politician expressed disbelief on his Facebook post on the evening of July 22, initially thinking the channel had been hacked due to its content.

Park highlighted several video titles and themes, including “Dog Daughter,” “Venezuela Direct Trains,” and “The Route of the Country,” stating they promote “stimulating titles, images, hate, and fear.” He asserted that content typically found on far-right YouTube channels was appearing on the official Seoul mayor’s channel.

“If the head of Seoul is mimicking the far-right YouTuber with private expense, it is a problem,” Park added. Mayor Oh operates the YouTube channel “Oh Se-hoon TV,” featuring thumbnails with the mayor’s face against dark backgrounds and white lettering. One video thumbnail for “Venezuela Direct Train” bore the text “The Road of Nara.”

In a video, Mayor Oh was seen criticizing the government’s policy of providing public welfare consumption coupons. He stated, “Temporarily solving money is a book. The government said that it was full, and the ratio was handed over to the local government.” The footage also showed President Lee Jae-myung smiling while holding a local gift certificate.
