In a scathing letter sent by the committee headed by the Ofek Fund, and signed by Yaki Halutzi, the trust of the Histadrut’s Cellular Workers’ Union, to Avi Zvi’s CEO, the committee demanded that in light of progress in the sale of control of Partner to an external group of investors “We appeal to management to demand the immediate opening of collective bargaining to regulate workers’ rights in the context of the sale transaction.”
Among the requirements: employment security for employees and a commitment not to take efficiency measures that include dismissals for a period of five years “This requirement is requested in light of the changes and upheavals in the communications market in recent years, and the uncertainty accompanying the buyer.

The workers also demand compensation for the sale transaction, including a respectable sales grant “that reflects the contribution of the workers and their efforts and as is customary in the economy in recent years.” As stated, the employees also demand the appointment of employee representatives to the board of directors, and a discussion on salary promotions for the year 2023-2024 until no later than October this year.
The committee clarified: a meeting without delay with the group of buyers headed by Gabay, and the determination of a series of negotiation meetings, and if they do not receive an answer, “We reserve the right to take all measures permitted by law.”
