Recently, there have been reports of military tension in the South Caucasus. The main source of those news is the Western media.

It is claimed that Azerbaijan will attack the territory of Armenia. As a result, the situation in the region will become tense again and a large-scale war will begin.

Currently, although the Azerbaijani army is acting according to the annual military plan, the Armed Forces of Armenia and the political leadership are attracting attention with their pro-war maneuvers.

Yerevan’s messages about preparing for the rematch:

1. Armenia is rapidly arming itself. The main arms suppliers are India and France. Both countries, in addition to selling weapons to Armenia, also provide serious support for their management. Infantry and destroyer units of the French military conduct training in Armenia;

2. According to the information spread in the media, Armenia wants to seize some height with a short-term military operation. Armenia will be supported by France in this operation;

3. It is known that serious financing is needed to manage the war. In order to finance the war, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan must “make peace” with the Armenian diaspora abroad. The first step was taken in France. French President Emmanuel Macron met Pashinyan with the co-chairman of the Coordinating Council of French Armenian Organizations Murad Papazyan. It should be noted that Papazyan is one of Pashinyan’s main opponents;

4. The activation of the European Union civilian mission in Armenia is also a sign of preparations for any military tension. For example, although the name of that mission is “civilian”, its activities are military. They carry out reconnaissance activities on the border with Azerbaijan and pass it on to the Armenian army. On the other hand, French generals also visited the border with Azerbaijan and collected information.

5. After rapid arming, finding new financial sources, intelligence operations on the border, Armenia has started the practical stage. Since the beginning of February, the cease-fire has been intensively violated on the Azerbaijan-Armenia conditional border. In addition to Zangilan, the official Iravan resorted to provocations in the direction of Nakhchivan as well.

In fact, the goal is to gather information resources for the Western media. That is, if Azerbaijan responds harshly to these provocations, the Western media will publish that official Baku is escalating the situation in the region.

Azerbaijan is still behaving patiently. Takes possible steps to prevent the situation from escalating in the region. But this does not mean that Armenia will fire for a long time, and the Azerbaijani army will not respond harshly. The April battles, the Tovuz battles, the Homeland War, the “Revenge” operation, and also the recent anti-terrorist measures in Karabakh are a clear example of the fact that the Azerbaijani army never leaves Armenian provocation unanswered.
