Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the President of the European Council Charles Michel within the framework of the inaugural nuclear energy summit, the government reports.
The message states:
“The interlocutors discussed issues related to Armenia-European Union cooperation. Thoughts were exchanged on the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process, 2023 was emphasized. the importance of the implementation of the agreements reached as a result of the tripartite meetings of the President of the EU Council, the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan held in Brussels on May 14 and July 15. According to which, the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan in 1991 On the basis of the Alma-Ata Declaration, they mutually recognize each other’s territorial integrity, demarcation between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be carried out on the basis of the Alma-Ata Declaration, the opening of regional infrastructures will take place under the sovereignty, jurisdiction of Armenia and Azerbaijan, on the principles of reciprocity and equality.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia reaffirmed the commitment of the Government of the Republic of Armenia to the mentioned agreements and presented the “Crossroads of Peace” project.
