The film ‘Pathan’ has been creating huge records at the box office ever since its release. In its first weekend, it collected Rs 533 crore worldwide in five days.
It is reported that there have been only ten films in history that have crossed 500 crores worldwide. The highest collection of all time was ‘Baahubali – The Conclusion’ (Hindi) 801 crores and ‘Dangal’ 702 crores. If ‘Pathan’ continues this box office collection chase, it is sure to surpass Baahubali and Dangal within a week.
It is also reported that ‘Pathan’ has already broken the record of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer ‘War’ which earned 450 crores worldwide. It will soon surpass films like ‘Padmaavat’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘Sultan’ and ‘Sanju’. The film’s benchmark target is Rs 1000 crore worldwide.
Written and directed by Siddharth Anand, the film belongs to the spy action thriller genre. Deepika Padukone starrer John Abraham plays another important role. Dimple Kapadia, Shaji Chaudhary, Gautham, Ashutosh Rana and others also star.
