DOON, County Limerick, December 22, 2025 – Patrick J.A. (Pat) O’Donovan, a former Allied Irish Banks employee and resident of Kilmoylan lower, Doon, unexpectedly passed away at his home on December 21st. He was 78.

The community is mourning the sudden loss of Patrick O’Donovan, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
- Patrick O’Donovan, formerly of Coachford, County Cork, died suddenly at his residence in Doon.
- He is survived by his wife, Teresa, and children Jane and Adrian, along with four grandchildren.
- Reposing will be held at Whites Funeral Home on Saturday evening, with Requiem Mass on Sunday morning.
- The Requiem Mass will be live-streamed for those unable to attend in person.

Mr. O’Donovan is deeply mourned by his wife, Teresa; daughter Jane; son Adrian; daughter-in-law Broze; son-in-law Ben; grandchildren Caitríona, Conor, Caitlín, and art; brothers Jeremiah, Martin, and Paul; sisters Honor and Mary; as well as a wide circle of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors, and friends.
Reposing will take place at Whites Funeral Home, Doon (V94 D450) on Saturday evening, December 27th, from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM. A Requiem Mass will be held in St. Patrick’s Church,Doon,on Sunday morning,December 28th,at 11:00 AM,followed by burial in Doon cemetery.
