Users of computers running Windows 10 have complained about the appearance of full-screen advertisements from Microsoft. This was reported by Windows Latest, Day.Az reports with reference to Lenta.ru.

According to computer owners, the advertisements began appearing after installing an additional update released for Windows 10 in January. Banners offering to upgrade to Windows 11 appear chaotically, and they expand to fill the entire screen, interfering with work at the computer.

Media journalists noticed at least four types of banners with which Microsoft attacked its users. At the first, the company reports that the computer can be upgraded to Windows 11 for free; at the second, the corporation recommends switching to a newer OS, promising a smooth transition. On the third banner, the advertising authors list features of the new generation OS that are not in Windows 10. Finally, on the fourth banner it says that Windows 10 can be saved, but the user can always update if desired.
