PDGA Player Ratings Updated: March 10th Release Includes February Corrections

The Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) has released its latest player ratings update, incorporating corrections submitted through February 5th, 2026, and event reports from Tournament Managers received by February 8th, 2026. This update impacts player eligibility and scoring, requiring athletes to verify their standing in registered events.

Upcoming Submission Deadlines for March Update

Players and tournament directors should note key deadlines for the next ratings publication, scheduled for Tuesday, March 10th. The deadline for submitting corrections is Thursday, March 5th, while Tournament Manager-submitted event reports are due by Sunday, March 8th. Adhering to these timelines ensures timely inclusion of results in the official rankings.

Eligibility Checks Required for Registered Events

A crucial element of this update is the potential impact on player eligibility. According to a PDGA announcement, members who have already registered for an event may find they are no longer eligible for their chosen division due to the revised ratings. Players are strongly advised to “double-check if you are still eligible and if not, reach out to the Tournament Director.” This proactive step will prevent complications and ensure a smooth tournament experience.

Resolving Uncredited Event Results

The PDGA is also addressing instances where players have not received credit for events they have completed. Before contacting the PDGA Event Support Team, players are instructed to first check the status of the event results.

Here’s how to determine if an event has been processed:

  • “Unofficial Results”: Indicates the event has not yet been included in a published ratings update. Players can check the “Status” item in the blue header bar to track the reporting process.
  • “Official Results”: If an event is listed as “Official Results” but a player’s score is missing, it may be due to an unsubmitted PDGA number or a submission received after the ratings update deadline.

In such cases, players should contact the PDGA Event Support Team, providing their name, PDGA number, and the date and name of the event.

Monthly Update Schedule and Resources

The PDGA publishes player rating updates on the second Tuesday of each month. The submission process for corrections and event reports consistently follows a five-day and two-day lead time, respectively. For a comprehensive view of the ratings schedule, players can consult the PDGA FAQ section, specifically the “When are ratings updated?” resource.

This consistent schedule allows players and tournament organizers to plan accordingly and maintain accurate records within the PDGA system.
