Peking University in Beijing has been closed due to the increasing number of corona cases in China.
More than 350 cases of corona have been reported in Beijing in the last 24 hours. Although the impact is low, the government is making various efforts to make the state corona-free.
Nationwide, the number of coronavirus cases in China is around 20,000. Notably, it was 8,000 a week ago.
Due to the large number of students studying in Beijing, the largest university operating in Beijing, the university has been ordered to close for the safety of the students.

Peking University students and faculty have been denied permission to leave the university campus unnecessarily. More classes have been shifted online, a university notification said.
