“As a result, it is expected that the average monthly amount of labor pension will also increase by around 3,100 drams, from 43,200 to 46,300 drams, and military pensions will increase by 5,200 drams, from 77,500 to 82,750 drams,” the minister said.

According to Narek Mkrtchyan, it is also proposed to increase the amount of benefits in case of old age, disability and loss of a breadwinner, setting it at 30,500 AMD instead of 28,600 AMD, and for a person recognized as a disabled child – 39,000 AMD instead of 37,000 AMD.

The government adopted a decision to increase pensions and allowances from September 1, 2022.
