In particular, it is proposed to set the amount of the basic pension at 21 thousand AMD instead of 18 thousand AMD, for the military pension at 20 thousand AMD instead of 18 thousand AMD, the amount of the minimum pension at 30,500 AMD instead of 28,600 AMD for compulsory military service. the amounts of military disability pension of a serviceman, respectively: 45 thousand drams instead of 43 thousand drams for the 1st group, 35 thousand drams instead of 33 thousand drams for the 2nd group, 32 thousand drams instead of 30 thousand drams for the 3rd group.
“As a result, it is expected that the average monthly amount of labor pension will also increase by around 3,100 drams, from 43,200 to 46,300 drams, and military pensions will increase by 5,200 drams, from 77,500 to 82,750 drams,” the minister said.
According to Narek Mkrtchyan, it is also proposed to increase the amount of benefits in case of old age, disability and loss of a breadwinner, setting it at 30,500 AMD instead of 28,600 AMD, and for a person recognized as a disabled child – 39,000 AMD instead of 37,000 AMD.
The government adopted a decision to increase pensions and allowances from September 1, 2022.
