At the Palace of Culture in the village of Mardakan, under the organization of the Main Department of Culture of the city of Baku, a meeting was held with People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Eyyub Yagubov, Day.Az reports.
The event was held within the framework of the project “Qonağımız var” (He is our guest).
The public greeted the People’s Artist with thunderous applause. First, the participants of the evening were informed about the creative successes of Eyyub Yagubov.
It was noted that Eyyub Yagubov studied piano at the Baku Music College named after Asaf Zeynalli (now the Baku College of Music) and initially planned to become a pianist. He began performing in the folk instrument ensemble “Humayun” under the direction of People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Alibaba Mamedov.
Over time, Eyyub Yagubov decided to become a singer. Initially he performed only chanson, then he began to perform songs of other genres. Since then, the singer has released more than 10 albums and starred in a number of films.
At the event, the singer performed the songs “Mənə dəniz verin”, “Əzizim”, “Bakı”, which are loved by millions of listeners.
Eyyub Yagubov performed the composition “Azəri torpağı” accompanied by the dance group “Səma”.
