Tonight (Monday) in Santa Monica, California, the MTV Movie and Television Awards ceremony took place. In a ceremony that has been held every year since 1992, the “Golden Popcorn” figurine was awarded to the great cultural heroes of the past year – on the big screen and on the small screen.

The best song around creating a TV / movie is the song “On My Way” from the movie “Marry Me” starring Jennifer Lopez and Maluma.
In the reality and docu-show categories: The Best On-Screen Competition Award went to the reality show “Rupol’s Drag Race”, the Lifestyle Show of the Year is “Selena + Chef” (hosted by Selena Gomez), and the “Best Demo Show” award went to “Demilo Show”. Starring Charlie, Dixie and their family. The award for best musical docu-program went to Olivia Rodrigo for “driving home 2 u.”

52-year-old Jennifer Lopez won the Generation Award, and failed to hold back tears. “I want to thank those who told me inside or behind my back that I could not do this,” the excited Lopez said. “I really do not think I would have done it without you. And I know I would not have come here without the fans who watched the movies. Thank you, I love you.”
