In Europe, including Ukraine and some Baltic countries, one can see manifestations of neo-Nazism, said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President. So he commented on the words of Vladimir Putin about the “gathering of unbeaten punishers.”
“It’s no secret that neo-Nazis are raising their heads more and more in European countries, and Europeans are fighting them. Of course, this is unacceptable for our country. In Ukraine, in some Baltic countries, indeed, we also see the same neo-Nazis. “Galicia”, which marched in Kiev quite recently. Therefore, these manifestations are quite obvious, ”a Kremlin spokesman told the Moscow speaking radio station.
Earlier, Mr. Putin said from the rostrum on Red Square during a speech on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the Victory that today one can observe “gatherings of unbroken punishers, their followers, attempts to rewrite history, justify traitors and criminals who carry the blood of hundreds of thousands of civilians.” …
In Moscow, on Red Square, a Victory Parade was held, the event began at 10:00. The parade was attended by 37 parade teams on foot, including more than 12 thousand servicemen, a mechanized convoy of more than 190 samples of military equipment, as well as an aviation formation of 76 aircraft.
