A photo exhibition of Uzbek photojournalist Khusniddin Atoev “The sun rises again in Karabakh” opened at the Abdullah Kadiri Memorial Museum in Tashkent, under the organization of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev in Uzbekistan.

According to Day.Az, the exhibition was attended by the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan Huseyn Guliyev, employees of the embassies of Azerbaijan and Turkey, cultural, scientific and artistic figures of Uzbekistan, scientists, teaching staff and university students.

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, the director of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center Samir Abbasov informed the participants of the event about the bitter consequences of the Armenian occupation and that in 2020, as a result of the 44-day Patriotic War, thanks to the successful policy of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the courage of our army, the lands of Azerbaijan were liberated, for almost 30 years under Armenian occupation.

The diplomat noted that the Azerbaijan Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev organizes media tours for media workers of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan and to the territories of the country liberated from occupation. Over the past years, journalists from the fraternal country have prepared dozens of television and radio programs and published many articles about Azerbaijan. Samir Abbasov added that the exhibition presents photographs taken by an Uzbek journalist as part of an organized media tour to the territories liberated from occupation.

Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan Huseyn Guliyev spoke about the historical friendly ties between the fraternal peoples and emphasized that in recent years cooperation between our countries has been developing upward.

Uzbek photojournalist Khusniddin Atoev shared his impressions of the organized media tour to Azerbaijan. He said that the photographs presented are only part of the footage he took. According to the photographer, in the future, together with the Azerbaijan Cultural Center, it is planned to hold new exhibitions about Karabakh.

In conclusion, the participants visited the corner of Karabakh, created in the Turon library by the Heydar Aliyev Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Uzbekistan in 2020. The donated encyclopedic book “Shusha – the cultural capital of the Turkic world” in five languages ​​and a postage stamp made in Uzbekistan will also be exhibited here.

It should be noted that the photo exhibition “The Sun Rises Again in Karabakh” will be on display at the Memorial Museum until February 27.
