Last weekend the Guatemalan badminton player Kevin Cordón and the television presenter Alejandra Portillothey united their lives in one religious ceremony which took place at Finca San Bernardo, located on the road to Fraijanes. This event took place a few days after the now married couple announced their civil union by sharing beautiful postcards of the moment on their social networks on April 23. If you haven’t seen the photos yet, we share them with you in this note.

From the bride’s entrance to the altar to their first dance as husband and wife, every moment was filled with love and happiness, as guests came together to celebrate this exciting chapter in Kevin and Alejandra’s lives. Starting a new journey together
After announcing their engagement in September 2023, Kevin Cordón and Alejandra Portillo took the next step in their love story with an intimate civil ceremony that stood out for taking place in Zacapa, the talented athlete’s homeland. However, this event marked the prelude to an even more exciting stage in their journey together.
Now, with the blessing of the religious ceremony, the couple embarks on a new chapter of their lives, full of promises, shared dreams and adventures to discover.
A little more about the happy newlywed couple
Alejandra Portillo is a social communicator and television presenter who shares roots from the departments of Suchitepéquez and Jutiapa. During her career she has stood out in beauty pageants, winning the title of Miss United Continents Guatemala in 2017, that same year she represented Suchitepéquez in Miss Universe Guatemala. On television she is known for her participation in the programs Soñando en Familia and Viva la Mañana.
On the other hand, Kevin Cordón is a Guatemalan known for his career in badminton, where he has stood out as champion of several events at the national and international level. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, the Guatemalan came very close to becoming the second Guatemalan athlete to win an Olympic medal by placing fourth. This year he is already preparing to participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, all that remains is for his position in the world ranking to be made official.
