Kochi: Even after a month has passed, no action has been taken against the complaint filed by a Kochi woman to the cyber police against the circulation of photos shared on Facebook. The woman said that she even gave a receipt for the complaint lodged at the cyber crime police station in Infopark when she went to complain again.
A complaint was filed with the police on November 30, 2022. The officer asked if Facebook was locked. When I was told no, he replied that people take photos on unlocked profiles and what’s the point of complaining here. The police officer said how to find out that its IP address is Nigeria and US.’- said the complainant.
I was told to mail the complaint. But they did not accept the complaint. The woman said her photos are still on the porn site.
