In an effort to support women over the age of 30 continuing their education in Mexico City, Pilares launched the Pilares Bienestar Scholarship. This program offers monthly financial support for those enrolled in educational levels ranging from secondary school at the National Institute for Adult Education (INEA), high school to bachelor’s degree, and who also participate in activities at one of the Pilares points. The support will be granted from February to November 2024, benefiting the students up to 10 times during this period.

To be eligible for one of the more than 400 Pilares Wellbeing Scholarships, those interested must meet a series of specific requirements, in order to benefit the greatest number of applicants. Pilares is a program from Mexico City, so being from this entity is essential.
In this extension of the call announced in the first days of the year, the capital agency highlighted that only the following people will be able to participate:
- Women over 30 years of age who attend PILARES and study at the Basic Secondary Level (INEA), in which up to 20 scholarships will be awarded.
- Women over 30 years of age who attend PILLARS and study Upper Secondary Level studies online, remotely or openly, taught by a public institution, in which up to 245 scholarships will be awarded.
- Women over 30 years of age who attend PILARES and pursue bachelor’s degrees in any modality, in a public institution in which up to 400 scholarships will be awarded.
These include being over 30 years old, residing in Mexico City, pursuing one of the educational levels mentioned, and participating in Pilares activities. For more information, applicants can consult the Pilares page.

Registration for this support will be open from February 14 to 16 through the site Pillars officer, expectant of those who did not manage to register in January. Those interested can enter the address and fill out the online application where the necessary documents will be uploaded digitally along with their application.
a) Official document that proves that the applicant is enrolled or pursuing his/her secondary education studies at INEA; in any of the online, open system or distance education modalities offered by public entities authorized to do so; or in Higher education provided by public institutions; as appropriate to the scholarship requested

b) Unique Code of the Population Registry (CURP) of the applicant.
c) Proof of address indicating that you reside in Mexico City. This must be issued in the last three months prior to the time of applying for registration in the social program. Valid receipts can only be for water service, property, telephone (landline), electricity, rental contract or proof of residence (issued by a mayor’s office or territorial coordination). The address that appears on the receipt is the one that must be captured in the registration application as it appears on the receipt.

d) Valid official identification with a photograph of the applicant (voting card or passport).

To extend the call in favor of women over 30, it is divided into:
- Publication of the extension to the call February 13, 2024.
- Registration and upload/delivery of documents to the platform February 14, 2024.
- Registration closes for the extension February 16, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.
- Publication of results February 20, 2024.
