Colombian Music Community to Honor Yeison Jiménez with Free Tribute Concert at Movistar Arena
A moving tribute to the late Yeison Jiménez will be held this Wednesday, January 14th, at the Movistar Arena in Bogotá, offering fans a chance to celebrate the life and legacy of the beloved Colombian singer. Admission to the event is free and open to the public, with entry granted on a first-come, first-served basis until the venue reaches capacity.Organizers emphasize that this is not a customary concert, but a heartfelt tribute to Jiménez’s memory.
Hundreds of fans are already anticipating the event, with the first entry period scheduled from 12 noon to 4 pm. A stellar lineup of artists and friends have confirmed their participation, including Pipe Bueno, Jessi Uribe, Luis Alfonso, Marbelle, Arelys Henao, boarding pass, Maluma, sylvester Dangond, and Paola Jara, alongside Johnny Rivera.
The Paola España agency confirmed these initial performers, and organizers anticipate additional figures from the music industry will join the tribute as the event draws nearer. Attendees are reminded that access is free, but restricted to those 16 years of age or older and individuals must not be under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants.
To accommodate the expected turnout,the tribute will be held across two time slots,with the first running from noon to 4 pm and the second from 6 pm to 10 pm,both continuing until the arena reaches full capacity. The tribute aims to honor the life and work of the artist, who tragically passed away at the age of 34.
