Palakkad: A singer who believed the words of a witch doctor and planted cannabis plants in his house to bring prosperity was arrested. Palakkad Excise Special Squad arrested Tamil playback singer Radhakrishnan from Agali. 20 cannabis plants were also found growing in a grow bag behind the house in Attappady.
Radhakrishnan is a playback singer in three Tamil films. He writes poetry well and recites it in tune. Despite being an accomplished artist, Radhakrishnan’s personal life has been a bit unsettled recently. As a solution to this, Siddhan in Tamilnadu advised to grow cannabis plant.
It is believed that according to the growth of the plant, problems will be solved and prosperity will increase day by day. Radhakrishnan took the advice at face value and planted cannabis seeds in growbags instead of vegetables. After sprouting in the fertile soil, the plants took root and grew well. There were some signs in life of returning luxury. But someone informed the excise about this.
Cannabis plants found are up to 134 cm tall. Three-month-old plants would soon be ready to flower.
