Prime Minister Modi said, “Today, I want to share another piece of good news with you. The Director General of the WHO, Tetros, is a good friend of mine. Whenever I meet him, he says, ‘Modiji, whatever I am today, it is because of the Indian teachers. Indian teachers have played an important role in the progress of my life and I am very proud to be associated with India.

“When he met me today, he said, ‘I have become a Pakka Gujarati.’ He told me, ‘Please give me a Gujarati name.’

“On stage today he reminded me of this, ‘Did you decide a name for me?’ He asked. Today, in the holy land of Mahatma Gandhi, I call him ‘Tulsibai’ because he is a Gujarati.

Tulsi is a plant forgotten by the younger generation, but for many generations, the plant has been traditionally worshiped in Indian homes. This is important in the spiritual heritage of India. ” Said Prime Minister Modi.
