On Monday night (5), a 32-year-old man was arrested at Court 54 on Rua 02, in São Sebastião, for illegally carrying a firearm, shooting on a public road and domestic violence, according to the Maria da Penha Law. The incident took place around 9 pm.
After receiving a complaint about gunshots in the central region of Capão Fulfilled, military police officers from the 21st Battalion went to the location to verify the situation.
Upon arriving at the indicated residence, the police team was received by the 28-year-old victim, who reported the threats she had been suffering from her ex-husband. According to the woman’s report, they are in the process of separating, but the man does not accept the end of the relationship and has shown aggressive behavior.
The man was arrested and the occurrence was registered at the 30th Police Station.
