When he shows himself wise, equejuelo (n°7) is a formidable trotter. Fortunately for his many takers, the pupil of Fabrice Lercier remained at a trot from one end of the course to the other and won very easily in this quinté relocated to Pornichet (Loire-Atlantique), for lack of runners at Cabourg (Calvados). His mentor, who signs his eleventh success in this category, did not hide his joy. “He’s one of the good horses I’ve trained,” says the former Montaval team tuner. We haven’t seen anything with him yet. His driver had decided to be patient and I was very worried about this choice. In sharp decline, Hope Flymp (n°1) is brave to keep second place ahead of Feline of Lavau (n°12), which again gave its maximum. Faustine Nay (n°6) had to settle for fourth place but achieved good value. The big underdog Edena Bella (n°4), proposed at 108/1 completes the good combination of the fifth.
