The last Sunday quinté of the summer meeting at the La Touques racecourse was contested on the fiber sand track. Sixteen competitors, aged 4 years and over and spread over nineteen pounds on the scale of values, were in contention over the distance of 1,900 m. Winner, on August 8, on this same course, Dragonet (n°9) managed to double the bet, despite his six-pound penalty, to the great satisfaction of his jockey Maxime Guyon “Lastly, I had to travel thick, but he had showed courage to win by a neck. Today, I enjoyed an ideal course. Everything opened up within and he easily made the difference. »
After leading the whole event, Am sorry (n°10) was brave all along the straight and took second place. He is ahead Headwinds (n°6), however badly out of the starting stalls, but whose end of race did not go unnoticed. Quickly noticed in the leading group, the outsider (85/1), Not So Silly retains fourth place and precedes Watch Him (n°4).
Disappointment with the favourite, Kahuna (n°2) which never gave hope to its takers.
