Arrival of the fifth: 3 – 14 – 5 – 9 – 8
Italian flag in hand on the podium, Gabriele Gelormini savors his success. At the sulky of Galago du Cadran (n° 3), the transalpine driver led an almost perfect race at the end of a race during which the main favorites were there. Off to a good start, he modeled his career on that of Mathieu Mottier and braggart (n° 15), which evolved for a long time in second thickness, without any back. Although nose to the wind in the final bend, when the last named fell back to the rope, his partner proved to be the strongest in the final phase to resist the beautiful end of the race of Gaelic du Rocher (n° 14).
After taking a while to get off the ropes, the bettors’ favorite, namely, Gendreen (n° 5) completes the podium at the foot of which Ghalie du Goutier (n° 9), also to be credited with a good end of race. As for Gold Voice (n° 8), he came to steal the fifth from braggart.
