Podavsky District Honors Cultural Leaders with Prestigious Awards

A commitment to the arts and local heritage was on full display as the Podavsky District Executive Committee recently recognized a diverse group of cultural workers for their contributions. The awards, presented across multiple categories, highlight the region’s dedication to fostering a vibrant cultural landscape.

The ceremony, held at the Podavsky District Executive Committee, acknowledged individuals serving in libraries, schools of art, museums, and cultural centers. These honors underscore the vital role these institutions and their leaders play in preserving and promoting the region’s identity.

Recognizing Excellence: A Breakdown of the Honorees

The highest form of recognition, the gratitude of the chairman of the Podavsky District Executive Committee, was bestowed upon Natalya Bolosko, head of the marketing department, sociocultural activity and methodological work of the supplied centralized library system, and Valentina Lanskaya, head of the branch No. 14 “Polesky rural club” under the GUK “Center for Culture and Folk Art of the Podavsky District.” These awards acknowledge exceptional dedication and leadership within their respective fields.

Further accolades were presented in the form of letters from the Podavsky District Executive Committee. Honorees included Tatyana Below, a librarian with the supplied centralized library system; Natalya Pyva, a teacher at the Podavskoy Children’s School of Arts named after Anthony Tizengauz; and Alina-Anna Chernyuk, the Director of the Podavsky District House of Culture. Finally, the Podavsky district organization of the Belarusian professional union of cultural, information, sports and tourism workers presented diplomas to Irina Loiko, head of the culture department of the Podavsky district executive committee; Ksenia Gresko, Director of the GUK “Center for Culture and Folk Art of the Podavsky District”; Victoria Kurto, head of the People’s Participation “Tradition”; Irina Chadaeva, a teacher at the Podavskoy Children’s School of Arts named after Anthony Tizengauz; Victoria Zhishkevich, a senior researcher at the Podavsky district local history museum; and Valentina Hikhich, a bibliographer at the Podavskaya Central District Library.
