/ Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, on Thursday, called on Israel to apologize and compensate for the killing of a Polish citizen in Gaza.

Tusk said, Israel should pay compensation for the killing of the Polish aid worker in Gaza.

He added, Israel should apologize for the killing of the aid worker and provide full information about what happened.

The day before yesterday, Tuesday, Poland condemned the raid on the western city of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, which resulted in the killing of 7 foreign relief workers, including a Polish citizen named Damian Sobol, and the Polish Ministry of Justice launched an investigation into the raid.

Press Secretary of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pavel Wronski, announced that the ministry held an urgent meeting regarding the circumstances of the death of a Polish volunteer in the Gaza Strip.

“Poland does not agree with the non-compliance with international humanitarian law and the lack of protection for civilians, including aid workers,” the Polish Foreign Ministry said in a statement on the X website.

She expressed her condolences to the family of the Polish citizen who was killed in the raid.

For his part, an official in the Ministry of Defense announced: “There is no doubt here. Every death must be investigated and such an investigation must be opened.”

According to Polish media, Damian Sobol, a resident of Przemysl, was killed as a result of the Israeli raid.

The number of victims of the international relief team of the WCK organization rose to 7 dead after two dead were found in the place where they were targeted, west of the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. The dead were of different nationalities: Australian, British, Irish, and Polish.
