Farmers, dissatisfied with the insufficient actions of the Polish government regarding the situation with Ukrainian grain exports, staged a “star march” to Warsaw and paralyzed traffic in the center of the Polish capital. As Day.Az reports with reference to Gazeta.ru, this was reported by the Polsat TV channel.

According to the TV channel, at about 14.00 GMT, Polish farmers began moving towards the Sejm buildings and the office of Prime Minister Donald Tusk from the building of the Palace of Science and Culture. At the same time, the gathering for the site of the action began in the morning – farmers arrived on tractors, and also began to launch firecrackers and smoke bombs.

In their hands, the protest participants carried placards and banners demanding a ban on the import of agricultural products from Ukraine to Poland. Other farmers, believed to have come from Wroclaw, brought a mock-up of an M1 Abrams tank made from hay to the protest.

Other farmers’ demands include abandoning the EU’s environmental plan to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
