Postgraduate Teacher Competition begins today … Banned for wearing belts, jewelry, heels

Competitive examination for postgraduate teachers begins today across Tamil Nadu. Wearing belts, jewelry, and heels is prohibited. The Teacher Selection Board has imposed strict restrictions on computer-based selection.

The Teacher Selection Board is conducting a competitive examination to recruit 2450 persons for the posts of Post Graduate Teacher, Computer Instructor and Director of Physical Education in Government Secondary Schools. The selection for this begins today across Tamil Nadu.

The first phase will be held from today till February 15 and the second phase will be held from February 16 to 20. Two and a half lakh candidates are participating in the examinations held at 190 centers. Between 25 thousand and 30 thousand candidates take part in the examination which is held every day on a specific subject. Examination centers are all set up in colleges.

Meanwhile, various restrictions have been imposed on the rules for selectors. Accordingly, selectors are prohibited from wearing belts. Also do not wear jewelry; Heels should not be worn with shoes and casual shoes should be worn. Wearing a watch is also prohibited. Similarly, it has been informed that no papers of any kind should be brought out of the examination room after the completion of the examination.
