Paris: Due to the energy crisis in France, electricity has been cut to famous monuments including the Eiffel Tower to save electricity. Paris Nagar City Hall was still lit till 1 am. Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo has said that from the 23rd, the city hall and museums in the city will be switched off at 10pm.

He said that when the Eiffel Tower closes at 9.45 p.m., all lights will be turned off, thereby reducing electricity consumption by 10 percent. The Paris mayor has attributed the energy crisis to the Ukraine war and climate change. Meanwhile, Paris Mayor Anne has said that this is being determined as part of the moderation plan to save energy announced by French President Emmanuel Macron last July.
