The leaders commenced the official proceedings with a viewing of a traditional dance performance, followed by the playing of both national anthems, symbolizing the respect and camaraderie between the two countries.
Prior to entering formal talks, President Prabowo introduced key members of his delegation, including State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, Investment and Downstreaming Minister Rosan Roeslani, Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and Indonesian Ambassador to Australia Siswo Pramono. Prime Minister Albanese reciprocated, presenting his entourage, which included Foreign Minister Penny Wong and Australian Ambassador to Indonesia Rod Brazier.
