jpnn.comJAKARTA – The statement by the Minister of Defense who is also the president-elect for 2024-2029, Prabowo Subianto when providing training to 906 prospective young TNI-Polri officers in Jakarta on Friday (12/7) has drawn attention.

“In my opinion, Prabowo’s statement is logical and not wrong. Especially when delivered in front of prospective young TNI and Polri officers who will later become the spearhead and backbone of the management of the country’s defense and security,” Khairul told reporters, Sunday (14/7).
He considered that motivating and inviting strategic thinking regarding the future duties of prospective young TNI and Polri officers was a reasonable thing.
Khairul said that in fact state security and the development sector are not things that conflict.
“There is no need to clash, let alone direct it towards the formation of narrow and shallow political perceptions. In fact, without strong defense and guaranteed security, is economic development still possible to run well?” he said.
