New Delhi: Lakshadweep Administrator Praful Khoda Patel has been appointed Delhi Luff. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweets that the Center has plans to appoint him as governor. “Are you ready to appoint Lakshadweep Administrator Praful Patel as the next Lieutenant Governor of Delhi?” Kejriwal tweeted. The Center is preparing to appoint a new governor ahead of the upcoming municipal elections in the capital. The Election Commission had initially said that the poll date would be announced on March 9, but the decision was reversed following the intervention of the Central Government. Anil Baijal, the current Lt. Governor of Delhi, was appointed in 2016.
