Riyadh: The grand finale of the Pravasi Literary Festival will be held on December 3. This marks the end of the Pravasi Literary Festival organized by the Rizala Study Circle. A total of 445 talents from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain will compete in the grand final. The first place winners in the unit, sector, central and national competitions will qualify for the Gulf level competition.
An extensive organizing committee was formed to ensure the success of the Gulf Head Literary Festival. Abdul Aziz Saqafi Mambat, People’s Secretary, ICF Gulf Council inaugurated the event under the chairmanship of Abdul Rahman Saqafi, Chembrasseri. Kerala Muslim Jamaat Secretary Vandoor Abdurahman Faizi made the announcement. Competitions will be held in 49 categories including Buds, Kids, Primary, Junior, Secondary, Senior and General, Mappilappattu, Sufi Song, Literature Competition, Speech and Family Magazine. The finalists will complete 917 unit matches, 192 sector matches, 64 central matches and seven national matches.
The aim of the festival is to nurture the creativity of the expatriate youth, to create alternatives beyond the art scene and to provide opportunities for new talents. As part of this, a cultural festival, a seminar and a college award will be organized. It will be attended by eminent personalities in the field of art, literature and culture.
