Thrissur: KP alias Praveen Rana, who was involved in an investment fraud of crores of rupees. Praveen was caught by the police while he was hiding in a migrant worker’s residence in Tamil Nadu. Disguised as a monk, Rana spent 100 crore rupees with the workers. The police was called to the house from the phone of one of them.

When the police came to Kochi to arrest him the other day, Rana had passed through blindfolded. After that, the police intensified the search across the state. The first information received was that he was in Kannur. However, Rana was humbled by a phone call from Tamil Nadu to a family member’s phone. Searching for this number, the police reached Devarayapuram, a place between Coimbatore and Pollachi, where Rana had been hiding. There he lived with guest workers in a granite quarry.

Thrissur East C.I.P. The police reached the spot under the leadership of Lalkumar. Rana tried to resist with his companions but had to surrender. The workers were shocked to know that the person who passed with them in the name of a monk was a fraud hero of crores. It has been reported that Ranak, a native of Perumbavoor, has prepared this hideout.

Praveen Rana, who was brought to Thrissur, has been shifted to a secret center and is being interrogated. He committed a fraud of Rs. 100 crores. However, the police believe that more people will come forward with complaints. Rana may be produced in court today after interrogation.
