Rabbi David Cohen, Rosh Yeshiva of Hebron and a member of the Council of Torah Scholars of Degel HaTorah, was hospitalized on Shabbat Kodesh at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem after feeling ill and fearing a heart attack.

Behadrei Haredim has learned that the head of the yeshiva, who returned from the United States on Wednesday morning after serving as the guest of honor at the huge conference of the Lakewood Yeshiva, preceded his arrival in Israel and even gave a lesson at the yeshiva.

On Friday, minutes before Shabbat, he was taken to the hospital after feeling unwell with a fear of a heart attack.
