On the other hand, on Tuesday, the precipitation zone will approach the national territory and rain is expected in many places from the middle of the day.
It will still rain on Wednesday night in most of the territory, however during the day precipitation will stop and is expected only in places in the eastern part of the country.
The wind will also become stronger – the south, south-west wind will blow slowly to moderately, on Wednesday the wind will turn from the west, south-west, with gusts reaching 15 meters per second. During the night to Monday, the air will cool down to -2…+3 degrees in the western regions of Latvia, it will be warmer in the east, +4…+8 degrees there.
However, in the following nights, the air temperature will rise slightly, the thermometer will no longer drop below the 0° mark, in places in the coastal areas the minimum air temperature during the night could be even higher than +10 degrees.
During the bright hours of the day, the air will not warm up more than +10…+14 degrees.
In the second half of the working week, the amount of clouds will change, and the intensity of precipitation will decrease – only a little rain is expected in places. The wind will gradually die down and will mainly blow slowly to moderately from the west, south-west. On both Thursday and Friday, the minimum air temperature will be +6…+12 degrees. During the day, the air will warm up to +11…+14 degrees.
During the holidays, the atmospheric pressure will increase even more. The sun will mix with clouds and significant precipitation is not expected. A light wind will blow.
At night, the air will cool down to +4…+9 degrees, the sea coast will be a few degrees warmer. During the days, the maximum air temperature will remain within +10…+13 degrees.
